Air companies generally allow travelling with your pet but, before leaving, you should contact the company you are leaving with and inform about its adopted rules. Small dogs and animals usually are allowed to travel near the owner in cabin if they are in well ventilated cages with a waterproof bottom. If your animal plus the weight of the carries is more than 10 kg, instead, he should travel in the hold.

It is important that the container size is in compliance with the rules adopted by the air company you are travelling with.

As far as transport in cabin is concerned, this is subject to some specific conditions. First of all, the animal has to travel inside a carrier with the following features: 16% of the vertical walls area must be opened, it must not have wheels (or they must be removed) and must have a drinking bottle reachable from outside. The respect of these indications does not guarantee the leaving.
