How often do I have to clean the aquarium filter?
The filter, in particular the perlon wool or the synthetic layer should be washed at least every ten or fifteen days, in order to avoid the accumulation of decomposed materials. The biological substrates, instead, should not be washed because they contain the bacterial flora.
