FAQ
Where is better to collocate the heater inside the tank?
Position the heater upright at a point in the aquarium where there is a good water circulation, in order to have an ideal heat distribution and an optimal thermostat work; otherwise the thermostat will not work at its maximum efficiency and the set temperature may not be reached.
Choose a heater of the right power (Watt) according to aquarium capacity, room temperature and required temperature increase (see enclosed data sheet).
- If you have a Cayman aquarium: insert the heater in the special BluWave filter housing.
- If you do not have a Cayman aquarium: attach the suckers to the heater, making sure they are positioned as in the illustration; the suckers must only be attached to the upper part of the heater and away from the heating element.
For a proper use, the water level should not go below the ‘minimum water level' mark.
