What can I do when the aquarium light doesn't turn on or doesn't work as planned?
First of all check if it is correctly inserted in the power outlet and the plug is turn on. Ensure that the rings are completely closed (to fix them rotate them of ¼ of round, see enclosed picture). If they still don't work check if they are damaged: if only one of them is broken, they both don't work. In this case you should change it.
It is recommended to replace the fluorescent tubes at least every year to retain an optimum light spectrum.
Attention: if the tubes don't fix or fix with difficulty it is possible that the ring gasket hasn't been placed correctly. In that case, open the ring, correclty place the gasket and close it properly.
If the tubes don't work according to the preset timing, check if the on/off lighting period has been set on the timer wheel. Remember that, if the eletric power supply has been switched off for more than 15 minutes, you should reset the timer.
