How to clean and maintain your bat house?
Never clean the box using insecticides; if inside is infested with parasites like bedbugs, it is necessary to remove the house and clean it using detergent soap. At beginning of spring, then, remove it and clean it from eventual spider webs or wasp's nests.
Bat house maintenance should be carried out between September and March.
